As the Manager of the Employee Benefits Division, it is my responsibility to provide guidance to the Account Managers, Enrollment Team Members, and Producers which overflows to helping our clients.

My career days began as a member of the United States Air Force with an assignment to Bergstrom Air Force Base, Austin, Texas, as a Reconnaissance System Specialist working on the systems of the RF-4C and the SR-71.  These being Lockheed aircraft, I transitioned from active duty to employment with Lockheed Austin Division in Training and Development.  This was the onset of my Human Resource experience.

I have been with Insurance Network of Texas for three (3) years.  I became associated with the outstanding team at Insurance Network through my Human Resource experience as the HR Director for Bastrop County. I have a great appreciation for the agency and the services provided by the team members.  This appreciation facilitates the ability to implement and administer benefits as though we are additional in-house staff to the Human Resource departments and/or employers.

As a previous employer representative, the implementation, administration, and coordination of employee benefits along with compliance is challenging and constantly changing and it is my goal for the Employee Benefits Department to make the manager’s job easier.  It is of additional importance to assist employees in understanding the benefits they have and for them to be able to truly appreciate what their employer provides.
